'k' at the end of a word *

 

Objective

To explore the occurrence of certain letters within words, eg v and k; 

deduce some of the conventions for using them at the beginnings, middles and endings of words.

 

Can you work out the word, with 'k' at the end, from the definition?

 

  1.   A dairy drink, which comes from a cow.    
 
  2.   Something you use to tell the time, bigger than a watch.    
 
  3.   A magician can do a magic one.    
 
  4.   A river has one, and you can save your money in one.    
 
  5.   You do this when you talk.    
 
  6.   The meat from a pig.    
 
  7.   An open space of green, sometimes with swings and roundabouts.    
 
  8.   Another name for a cape; a coat with no sleeves.    
 
  9.   An implement for eating with, used with a knife.    
 
10.   To open and close both your eyes quickly.
